Background of MedEd LawTM
MedEd LawTM Consulting, LLC is a forensic nurse–led coaching and consulting firm that partners with youth, families, professionals, and community agencies across the State of Colorado. We provide education, training, consultation, and advocacy to address the forensic, health, social, and systemic factors that affect a family’s and community’s ability to thrive.
Mission
To bridge the Village gaps in access to care, community services, and essential resources for survivors and families who are struggling and experiencing violence and vulnerability. We do this by strengthening health-promoting relationships, enhancing collaboration and communication among essential community partners, professionals, survivors, and families, and supporting the delivery of holistic, trauma-informed, youth- and family-centered care and services.

To empower youth, families, and survivors to become champions of their own health and well-being through education and equitable access to resources, opportunities, and support. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive, and equitable spaces, building authentic community relationships, and working alongside partners to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes—so families and survivors can flourish within the communities around them.

Education
We empower survivors of trauma and violence to take ownership of their health and well-being by providing comprehensive health education, violence prevention resources, and ongoing, compassionate support.
Training
We educate and train professionals and community agencies on medical-forensic issues to strengthen their knowledge, improve trauma-informed responses, and enhance the quality of care and support provided to youth and families impacted by trauma, violence, exploitation, and adversity.
Expertise
We provide expert consultation to professionals and community agencies to strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration and improve their approaches, responses, and support for survivors and families—helping to bridge gaps in access to care, resources, and essential services.
